After having a full knee reconstruction 4 years ago, I had been struggling to get back to full competition level again. I had tried every form of treatment but my knee had just never fully recovered. I have had treatment with Matt now for the past 6months and cant believe the difference.
I am now back competing and training at a high level again with little problems from my knee.
I honestly couldn't recommend him enough, his treatment and expertise have got me back to where I want to be!

I was first treated by Matt in 2014, for two prolapsed and protruding discs to C5/C6. I was experiencing high pain levels to my neck, left shoulder and down the left arm. I saw Matt several times a week for around a month, he reduced the inflammation and tension I had as well as reducing my pain levels making me more comfortable each time I received treatment, until I had healed enough to no longer needing Matt's assistance.
This is an injury I have for life and Matt has always been available to offer me support, advice and treatment whenever I have needed it, including a long term plan on how to manage, maintain and progress.
I would highly recommend Matt for treatment, he has always been very friendly and professional throughout my treatment.

Matt first treated me 18 months ago, when he was recommended to me as someone who could help with the iliotibial band problem I was having as a result of a lot of cycling. I couldn't believe how quickly he managed to sort this for me. I continue to see him regularly for massage work, as he helps to keep the osteo-arthritis in my fingers at bay, and maintains my shoulders and legs in good working condition. I can't recommend him highly enough!

I was looking for sports massage when my hips were painfully tight and a friend from the gym put me in touch with Matt. The very first session with Matt pretty much resolved that and I started a series of regular sports massage treatments. As an office worker I sit at a desk all day but enjoy training in the gym, short and long distance trail running and obstacle course races; the massage treatments post-event help me recover more quickly and with Matt’s expertise he can readily identify if an area needs more attention. With Matt’s knowledge he has helped me further the understanding of my own body. He makes you feel very much at ease and offers non judgemental support and advice in a friendly and professional way. His passion and enthusiasm for what he does shines through and it’s a pleasure to be one of his patients!

I would highly recommend Atlas Physio. Matt has helped me to progress from persistent back and neck problems as well as shin splints and hip pain, to regular exercise and running, pain-free! He is approachable and has always been flexible to whatever issue I turn up with at the time, I couldn't rate him highly enough!

My wife has used Matt for the past 2 years for back pain, and gets great relief from her sessions with Matt. Without a doubt these sessions enable her to keep moving! I have recently started receiving physio from him on my calves to treat recurring running injuries. Very impressed with Matt's work, and within 3 sessions I'm back to high mileage runs. Highly recommended!

Matt has helped me with long term knee problems caused by many years of netball. He has helped with initial treatments and also a long term plan with different exercises so I can keep playing the sport I love. I would highly recommend Matt to anyone with problems or injury.

Having recently signed up to do an Ironman I decided that I needed to spend some time trying to fix long standing injuries to help lead me into my training plan properly and hit the ground running. I was recommended Atlas Physio by my partner who had been treated by Matt previously and decided it was worth going along for an initial consultation. On the first consultation I discussed the issues with Matt and what I was hoping to achieve and based on that decided to book a block of five appointments to see how it went. If I’m being honest, not being someone who is really ‘into’ physio and the idea of sports therapy/massages I was perhaps dubious about whether I would carry on after the five (this mind-set was probably also based on previous unhelpful trips to physiotherapists). However, based on the first few sessions, and how I felt after / during my training workouts, I have since decided to keep going back on a weekly basis to fit in alongside my training. Thanks for the friendly help and support Matt!

I have been fortunate to know Matt for several years after requiring a few different treatments, he’s a great physio who definitely knows his stuff. Not only does he have the ability to resolve most issues, but he makes you feel at ease whilst having treatment.

After seeing a Physio for 18 months after I had a car accident I was still In a lot of pain with my neck, arm and still suffering from headaches. I have been seeing Matt for 3 months now, he has reduced the pins and needles in my arm. My headaches are less frequent and the pain in my neck has reduced. Still a long way to go but what Matt has done in 3 months the other person didn’t manage in 18! I would highly recommend Matt.

Atlas Physio was recommended to me by several friends / team mates. Matt is certainly worthy of his reputation. He knows his stuff and was even able to pin point previous rugby injuries, that I hadn't told him about. He was very friendly, explained everything to me in a way that I could understand and made an immediate impact on my current ankle injury. I’ve appreciated his friendly and professional approach and will continue to come back with any new injuries.
